SEFI definition of Dean:

“A person who leads or has led an engineering college, school, faculty or equivalent, or who has been in a similar suitable leadership role at a University in Europe; at a European institution of higher education that is primarily focused on engineering education; or at an engineering deans council or organisation in a respective European country or region“
