During the first week of November 4-10th November, took place the 69th ESTIEM Council Meeting…
Two dissemination events under the A-STEP 2030 project took place in the last month, organized by the Board of European Students of Technology (BEST) in collaboration with the respective BEST groups and their local universitites.
The first event took place on 25th of March 2021 and was hosted by BEST ENSTA Bretagne,. The event was held live, in a two-hour session, which gathered 16 participants, amongst which students, professors and administrative staff from ENSTA Bretagne. The event aimed to disseminate the outcomes of the project, which were presented by Professor Klara Kövesi and followed-up in a two-hour session facilitated by Perrine Bauchot, a student and a member of BEST ENSTA Bretagne. The sessions focused on two main points from the project research, reflection on the career goals survey, as well as the attractive employers’ attributes.
Another BEST Local Event was held in University Brussels ULB, but in an online environment. Members of Local BEST Group Brussels ULB disseminated the outcomes of the A-STEP 2030 which was followed by a discussion amongst 11 students. They recorded students’ reactions to the strong/weak soft skills on an engineer, from the research conducted in Belgium, and compared the results with opinions of today, after the world has suffered consequences of the COVID-19 pandemic. The students were also presented with the survey outcomes on the positive attributes of an employer, and had the opportunity to share their opinions on the opportunities that are to come in the future.
The outcomes of the discussion will be shared on the project website: https://www.astep2030.eu/en
