Invitation: GEDC SEFI Global Virtual Internship Program

Dear SEFI/GEDC Community,
 
I am delighted to announce that SEFI has partnered with the GEDC to support the Global Virtual Internship Program. Engineering students at member institutions of both organisations can now benefit from the valuable opportunities offered by our corporate and university members. To reflect this change, the platform will be renamed to global-virtual-internships.com and we will ask you to use that link to send to your students. However, the current link (gedc-virtual-internships.com) will still work if your students are already using it.
 
A huge thank you to everyone who has supported the program so far.
 
New features have been added based on feedback received from users so far:

• Option to Delete and / or Mark opportunities as filled
• Opportunities can now be posted for Masters/Postgraduate and PhD students as well as bachelors 

To get even more opportunities out there for our worldwide students from member universities, we encourage all our members to register on the platform and post your internship opportunities by 30 June 2020. Register here and please do not share this link with students – all registered universities will receive a unique code for students to browse the opportunities.

Once registered, to share the opportunities with your students:Login to the platform where you will be given a unique code for your university. Your students will need this code to access the opportunities.Send the code and the following link with the students you wish to have access to the opportunities: https://gedc-virtual-internships.com/. The code can be used multiple times, but is unique to your university so please do not share further. 

We continue to improve the platform, please keep sharing your feedback and suggestions and please do post more opportunities and share the internships available with your students.
