SEFI at the IREG Engineering Ranking Working Group seminar
Prof. Greet Langie, KU Leuven and Chair of the SEFI Task Force on Capacity Building, participated at the seminar organised in Moscow by the National Research Nuclear University MEPhI (Moscow Engineering Physics Institute) and IREG Observatory on Academic Ranking and Excellence – on 30 November/1 December. She participated in the session on How to measure the quality of Engineering Education, with a presentation on “New trends in Engineering Education – a SEFI perspective“, a session that welcomed also presentations from Michal Kleiber, Vice-President, European Academy of Science and Arts EASA, former president of Polish Academy of Sciences “Dilemmas of quality assessment of science and education”; Dirk Bochar, FEANI Secretary General “FEANI initiatives in supporting engineering education – new developments” and Sergey Shaposhnikov, member of ENAEE Administrative Council “ENAEE experience in evaluating the quality of engineering education – recommendations for rankings”.
