Working group on Mathematics – preparing for 2018

SEFI Mathematics Working Group’s Steering Committee met at the annual coordination meeting on December 8-9, 2017, at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, Slovak University of Technology in Bratislava, Slovakia.

members: Burhkard Alpers, Univerity of Applied Arts in Aalen, Germany; Marie Demlová, ČVUT Praha, Czech Republic; Tommy Gustafsson, Chalmers University, Gothenburg, Sweden Brita Olsson-Lehtonnen, Finland; Carl Robinson, Loughborough University, UK; and 2 members from Coimbra Institute of Engineering in Coimbra, Portugal, Cristina Caridade and Deolinda Rasteiro.

Various topics were discussed, with the main one being the organisation of the next 18th SEFI MWG Seminar that is going to be held in June 26-29, 2018 at the Coimbra Institute of Engineering in Coimbra, Portugal. Committee members also agreed on the Working Group Action plan for activities in 2018.
